how to use sizzlers for oil burners +4 Using sizzlers (simmering granules) in an oil or wax burner is a clean, easy alternative to wax melts.

Just add 1–2 teaspoons of the dry granules into your clean, dry burner dish—do not add water. Light a standard 4-hour tealight underneath (or turn on your electric burner), and enjoy the scent.

Step-by-Step Guide

Prep your burner: Ensure your burner's dish is completely clean and dry. Sizzlers do not need water or oil added to them, nor do they need a wax liner.

Add the sizzlers: Scoop roughly 1 to 2 teaspoons of the granules into the dish. Spread them in a thin, even layer rather than heaping them up. You can adjust the amount based on how strong you want the fragrance to be.

Heat the granules: Light your tealight or switch on your electric burner. The heat will cause the fragrance oils to evaporate, filling your room with a beautiful scent for a few hours.

Clean up: Sizzlers will not melt; they stay solid, leaving you with just the salt crystals. Once the scent is gone and the crystals have faded in color, let the burner cool, simply tip the used salt into the bin, and wipe the dish

Important Tips and Safety

Burner Safety: If using a tealight burner, always stick to standard 4-hour tea lights. Using an 8-hour tealight can make the dish too hot and potentially cause the burner to crack.

Tealight Distance: Make sure there is at least a 10cm gap between the tealight flame and the bottom of the dish.

Do Not Mix: Avoid mixing wax melts and sizzlers together in the same dish.Replacing: You can reuse the granules multiple times. If you can no longer smell the aroma, it is time to throw them away and add a fresh batch
